The Arts: Music,Art,and Dance

Now I am very occupied. The past few days I have spent writing new mandolin music and using this amazing youtube downloader which lets me get anything off of youtube to put on my mp3 player! What do we know about music? What IS music? It's just as old as people are but only in the past few hundred years have we been able to document and write it down. I have downloaded music starting from the ancient greeks (around 3000 BC), and now I'm downloading music from the end of Renaissance to early Baroque (around 1500-1700AD). A VERY interesting transition for music, maybe you don't care, but I sure as hell do!
