We have scars in the most surprising places, as if they were secret maps of our personal history, traces of old wounds. Some wounds were closed leaving only a scar, but not others. Some carry the scars all over and although the wound closure, the pain persists.
What is worse, new wounds horribly painful or old ones that had closed years ago but did not? Maybe the old wounds teach us something, we remember where we were and what we passed, we are taught that we must avoid in the future, or so we think ... although in reality it is not, there are things we must learn again and again
