Remember when the worst thing you could get from the opposite sex was cooties?

When daddy was your hero and mommy was your best friend.

When your worst enemies were your teachers or siblings.

When the only drug you knew was cough medicine,

and you thought it was icky.

When a girl wore a skirt didn't have to be a slut,

and the only things that smoked were the tires on your bike.

When 'rock, paper, scissors' could solve every problem.

When the only thing that hurt was skinned knees,

and the only thing you had to worry about breaking was your favourite toy.

Remember wanting to be a grown up so bad?

Now I wish I hadn't.
