When I was in Italy, we went in tour to Venice. This town was founded in 452, set in marshy islands at Adriatic Sea. This is city of canals - transport take place waterway or on foot. The most popular means of transport is vaporetto (water taxi). Patron of the city is St, Mark. Popular is Venetian carnival, then people wear different mask. For years Venice haunted floods. In this city comes the most expensive glass in the world, called Venetian glass. Is produced in small island Murano. In the architecture of Venetian dominates Romanesque style.
In Venice we spent all day. First we walking with guided, later we can go everywhere we wanted. Buy souvenirs, watch old houses and eat real italian pizza. In St. Mark's square I and my friends fed pigeons. It be there thousands I think. They be on each side. It was amazing. We seen how sail gondola, but unfortunately we can't swim beacuse it was too expensive. I remember this tour very positively.
