M Shadows band has a reputation of a band destined to the youngest american metal enthusiasts. But with this new album, directly at the first place of US charts, mentalities will change. Welcome to the family will probably convert more than one, as well as Danger Line with this insistent chorus where guitars sound like & Dream Theater : Avenged Sevenfold takes on today more than ever their influences, notably Metallica ; we can hear One and Ride The Lightning in the ending of Buried Alive, a song which could be sung by James Hetfield. A7X winks also at the song Wherever I May Roam on God Hates Us, which should go wild on stage ! And we cant blame the band, who gives us a few metal hits in a row, since there are some slow songs with a beautiful musicality (So Far Away, and Tonight The World Dies). And dont forget Fiction, the hypnotizing song composed by The Rev a few days before he passed away (it was supposed to be titled Death &) and this blazing finale of 11 minutes that will interpellate for sure progressive metal enthusiasts (Save Me). After years spent hearing of Avenged Sevenfold as a big band, Nightmare confirms this idea : the future is coming right now.

"Nie przekonuje mnie tylko oprawa albumu i teksty piosenek. OK, zespól przeżył tragedię- śmierć perkusisty (gościnnie zastępuje go Mike Portnoy, jego progresywny wpływ najlepiej słychać na Save me". Kipesko narysowane trupie czaszki w grafice i refleksje typu God Hates Us trącą jednak infantylizmem..'' Jak umiesz lepiej to udowodnij ,a nie krytykujesz na pewno bezpodstawnie :> bo one wcale nie są kiepskie,a i nic nie trąca infantylizmem for fuck sake.
